Statue of Liberty

The Headquarters of the United Nations is located in the Turtle Bay neighborhood in Manhattan. Manila Cathedral
A true merging of traditional Catholic architecture, modern influences and Philippine culture, the Manila Cathedral in Manila, Philippines, offers a melting pot of faith and art. Chinatown
The oldest recognized Chinatown, Binondo's Chinese enclave was documented as early as 1594, though it was already a focal point of Chinese trading when Spanish explorers first arrived in 1521. Start at Binondo Church and follow the savory scents of oranges and sweetmeats, lychees and mooncakes. The area bordered by Ongpin, Quentin Paredes and Gandara Streets offers the heart of Chinatown, where you can browse to your heart's content and pick up noodles, yellow Chinese gold, and mysterious remedies for illnesses you may not have known you had. Then stop by the Bahay Tsinoy Museum for a look at the place's rich history.
Intramuros
Located on the banks of the Pasig River, Intramuros is the old site of Manila and the ancient city district of Manila. The city is surrounded by trenches and medieval walls with 7 gates. There are the governor's residence and 12 churches in the city. You can experience the city by taking an ancient carriage shuttle on the streets. Here you will enjoy the elegance of Spain as it preserves the architectural features of ancient times. There are many attractions to visit, including Manila Cathedral, Casa Manila Museum, St. Augustine Church, Santiago Castle and many more.
Fort Santiago
Fort Santiago is located on the Pasig River where it was constructed in 1590 as a defense against pirates. It is part of the Intramuros section of Manila. Fort Santiago was named as the Shrine of Freedom in 1950. If you visit Fort Santiago, you can tour the Rizal Shrine to honor the Philippine hero José Rizal who was imprisoned there in a prison cell in 1896. The shrine includes bronze footprints that mark his final steps from the cell to the place where he was executed. You can also tour the dungeon where Japanese soldiers held prisoners during World War II. Come visit Fort Santiago and honor the history and bravery of the Philippine people.
