Late 2019 welcomed some important milestones for Maurie + Eve. We launched our very first eco-collection, Nature in Balance and are super proud to announce that we're now 100% carbon neutral! We've also saved over 1,700 metric tonnes of plastic from landfill just by stocking exclusively online. But there's more to be done and we don't pretend to be perfect.
Working closely with our suppliers, Maurie + Eve welcomes the use of Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified 100% organic cotton. This sustains the health of soils, ecosystems and people, combining tradition and science to promote quality of life for all.
We also work with GOTS certified cotton mills and a collection of our garments are hand-dyed at Oeko Tex certified mills (with no hazardous chemicals!). Every little bit counts. Our beautiful family-run manufacturers in Bali and India are equally passionate about the future, proving some of the most innovative with fabric offcuts (we've got some gorgeous upcycled robes, throws and totes coming your way). We love them and their commitment to sustainable practices and minimal waste where possible, in particular a dedication to empowering women with employment.
