Who is Kipling?

Established in 1987 by three friends from Antwerp. They decided to design high-quality bags for the everyday woman. They wanted to design each Kipling Bag to be iconic, chic, feminine, and fashionable. Most important - to not be boring for the wearer.

The women came up with a fabulous line of casual and vibrantly colorful bags. They wanted their products to be affordable, sporty, and functional. In a word fun!

Why attach a "monkey" to the bags?

Whenever you think of Kipling, you think of the monkey. Of course the brand name "Kipling" and Rudy Kipling's famous work "The Jungle Book" give Kipling the perfect connection. Monkeys are symbols of fun and adventure, so the monkey naturally became the brand's mascot. And not very much later, it became the monkey key ring. Every Kipling monkey is named after an employee from somewhere around the world. Every collection has its own unique monkey! The monkey has definitely become a collector's item for anyone who is fun-loving and young at heart... We already know of Kipling addicts who own no less than 425 monkeys!

What Designers Work With Kipling?

Since 2006 Kipling has been working alongside some quirky designers to bring ultra fashion-forward collections. Designers include Girls From Omsk (Belgium), Cathy Pill (Belgium), El Delgado Buil(Spain), Peter Pilotto (UK), Gloria Coelho(Brazil), and more recently JC DE Castelbajac (France).

HOW DO I CLEAN MY KIPLING BAG?

For fabric bags clean the outside fabric with a slightly wet cloth. Do not bleach. Do not soak in water. Hang in a shady place. In case of a deep stain, clean the fabric with a cloth or soft brush using water and neutral soap. A universal-use protective spray (i.e. Scotchguard - found in most shoe or handbag departments) may be used to keep the product looking clean. When your fabric bag is combined with leather, avoid moistening the leather when cleaning.

HOW DO I USE MY E-GIFT CARD?

Using Kipling E-Gift Card couldn't be easier, you simply enter your E-Gift Card number in the payment section provided at the checkout when you are ready to make your purchase.
Upon receiving your Kipling E-Gift Card via email you will be presented with an E-gift card number that can be redeemed online.
If the items purchased total less than the E-Gift Card amount, the remaining funds will remain on the E-Gift Card to use on the next purchase, if the items purchased exceed the E-Gift Card amount the remaining value must be paid by card in order to complete the order.
Gift Cards take up to 4 hours to be delivered to your preferred email address.
Items bought using E-Gift Cards can be returned or exchanged but not refunded, only additional monies paid over and above the E-Gift Card will be refunded and a new E-Gift Card will be issued or funds allocated to your existing E-Gift Card applied.

We will make best efforts to deliver products within 5 to 10 working days to the address specified by you during the purchase process, with extended delivery time for further regional areas (WA, Far North QLD & NT).

ONLINE RETURNS

Kipling offers you a Free 90-day Return Policy within Australia on goods that have been purchased online (via this site) that are unused and in a saleable condition.

To process a return:

(a) Simply fill in the details on the return form and your postage label will be emailed to you

(b) Attach the label and return the item(s) to us in the same condition it was received and if possible with all packaging.

All products must be returned in an undamaged, as-new condition with all labels and product swing tags attached. Any item returned that does not meet these criteria will be returned to the customer and a refund will be declined.

A full refund of the purchase price will be issued to the original credit card for all items confirmed and returned in a re-saleable condition. Due to high order volumes, our returns process is currently experiencing delays. Please allow up to 15 business days for the refund to appear on your bank statement.
