The cost-effective, portable, lightweight, brightly coloured, inflatable car booster seat for children aged between 4-11 easily deflates and folds flat so that kids or moms can carry it in a rucksack or handbag, making it perfect for vacation, rental cars, taxis, coach journeys, field trips or car pooling. A shoulder belt positioning clip is for comfort only and positions the vehicle seatbelt across the center of the chest away from the face and neck. This prevents the vehicle seatbelt being a discomfort to the child, often resulting in the child putting the vehicle seatbelt under the arm or behind the back, which is extremely dangerous. Is BubbleBum comfortable? We know that rigid seats give children 'dead legs' when travelling on any lengthy journey. BubbleBum is inflatable and super comfy, therefore, no more 'dead legs!' The 'boost' created when the seat is inflated makes it easier for the child to sit with their back against the vehicle seat due to the introduction of a gradient on the legs. This prevents the child from **slouching forward to bend their legs over the vehicle seat. **Children slouching forward, creating space between their back and the vehicle seat back, is very dangerous. You inflate it by blowing into valve at the back. If you go camping you'll find it's the same sort of valve as a Self Inflating Mat.

It is great to have one or more BubbleBums on hand in the trunk for carpooling or visiting children. It requires so much less storage space than rigid booster seats.
The BubbleBum comes with a shoulder belt adjuster strap, which isn't something you find with all backless boosters. The adjuster strap properly positions the car seat belt across your child's chest.
Before your child is buckled in, this car seat can slide around a bit on leather car seats. If your car has flat leather seats, you may want to get a slip mat to use with the BubbleBum.
Some users have reported that the seat leaks air. BubbleBum customer service said there was a small batch of seats that would not hold air and they have been very responsive in replacing seats that leak. But even if the seat deflates, it will still hold the seat belt in the proper position across your child's lap and shoulder. The BubbleBum booster seat passed U.S. and the more stringent European safety testing in both inflated and deflated conditions.
Threading the lap belt through the clips on each side of the BubbleBum is a challenge for some younger kids, especially when it is between two other car seats. Because it can be difficult for kids to manage the buckle themselves, it takes a little longer for parents to buckle and unbuckle a child.
