Product Design
The Style departments define and propose the research strategies for new products through development and plans for the different product lines. They also carry out innovative research and development for the collections under their responsibility, managing all aspects concerning the definition of trends, colours and fabrics.
Product Technical Management
The Product Technical department supervises the technical development of the collections, including the phases involving the planning of the collections and the schedules, the research and selection of fabrics, yarns and accessories, modelling and industrialization.
Sales
The Sales department defines the sales objectives for the brands it manages (e.g. turnover, profitability, and market share), as well as the development of sales plans/programmes. Our salesmen can rely on a Product Manager organizational structure dedicated to the brands, with the task of developing the marketing approach for the collections, defining the targets for each product, the assortments, the price bands and the positioning of each brand in the market.
Stores
The development of the sales network is characterized by prestigious locations in important historical centres and shopping centres and the extremely high level of customer service provided. United Colors of Benetton, Undercolors of Benetton and Sisley shops offer complete collections that are up to date, fashionable and of a very high quality; the same is true of the wide range of accessories. Contacts located in various parts of the world are responsible for supporting customers by identifying the garments that best respond to their requirements.
Operations & Logistics
The Operations & Logistics areas manage the entire production cycle of new collection items, from the purchasing of raw materials to the production of finished garments, appropriately assessing the approaches and innovative ways in which they can ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the processes. Also, this department controls ad coordinates the production hubs - the main ones are in Tunisia, Eastern Europe, China, India and South East Asia - and they use the most modern logistics technologies to manage the distribution of finished garments to the 120 countries around the world in which the Group operates.
Information Technology
The Information Systems department has the fundamental role of supporting the Group's organisational and process changes, in line with business strategies and business development, through the proposal of innovative technologies and state-of-the-art systems.
Communication
The Communication area is based on six pillars that work in close cooperation and synergy: corporate press, PR, advertising, digital, licensing and graphic design.
Each of them contributes - in its area of relevance - to the promotion of the Group image, values, brands and initiatives on a global and local level.
The communication area also develops projects and initiatives in collaboration with Fabrica, the Group research centre, which since 1994 hosts young artists from all over the world.
Staff
The Staff departments have the objective of supporting the entire company process. They include the Human Resources, Administration Finance and Control, Legal, Tax and Internal Audits departments. These departments are also responsible for the real estate unit and the Assets and Property Management unit tasked with the identification of locations for new sales outlets, as well as their construction/refurbishment in prestigious capitals around the world.

HEADQUARTERS Benetton Group is based in Ponzano, about 30 km from Venice. The Group's headquarters are housed in Villa Minelli, a complex of 16th century buildings of great historical and cultural interest.
